Several Dark Horse fencers competed in the the Back to School Brawl in Charlottesville.
Highlights:
Y10 Mixed Foil: Gavin Cornell, John Maurer, and Charles Maurer finished in the medals in 5th – 7th places respectively.
Y12 Mixed Foil: Bridgette Maurer just missed a medal, finishing 9th out of 12.
C & Under Epee: Danny Strock picked up where he left off last season with a 5th place finish out of 23.
C & Under Mixed Foil: Coach Ron finished 6th, John Vivian 11th, and Veronica Thornton 12th in a C1 event with 23 competitors.
E & Under Foil: Veronica Thornton finished 9th and Breck O’Donnell finished 20th, out of 36.
C & Under Saber: Alexander Bartlett finished 9th out of 11.
